2017 – A Year Of Craziness

I can’t remember the last time I sat down to type a blog post, but here I am. It’s March 2017 and I’m currently on vacation from my day job. Whew, did I need this ‘break’. My birthday was this month and I spent it with family and close friends. It’s my last year in my 20s and I’m feeling a bit nostalgic about it all.

I look at everything I’ve accomplished so far and I some how want more. Is that normal? I’m still writing Destructive Fate (my fourth book) and it’s been giving me hell. I keep getting stuck and it’s a little aggravating. I don’t know what it is, but I took this past month to put it down and take a step back. Although I haven’t been writing much this month, I’ve been doing plenty of other things to keep me busy.

Last year I started a podcast (Shadowhunters Podcast) and this year I added a couple of more things to my ‘to do list’. I’m hosting another show called YA At Any Age and a BookTube channel called Young Adult Author Show. Yeah, it’s all crazy but I am really enjoying it.

It’s the last couple of days of my vacation and I’ve decided that I’m going to buckle down and finish writing Destructive Fate this month. I’m hoping once I get over this slump that I’m in, it’ll be smooth sailing from here on out.

Thanks for listening (reading) to me ramble. I’ll chat with you soon.
