Where has time gone?

The last time I blogged on the website, the first quarter of 2016 was wrapping up. Here we are, in September and boyy have things been insane!

Over the summer I made a big change and moved to the Houston, TX area for work. I have also published the follow up to Southern Secrets, Southern Betrayal and I’m in the middle of writing Destructive Fate (follow up to Destructive Bliss). Great news is, I’m on track to have 4 books published this year.

I constantly get asked, “Where do you find the time for writing?” Well, the truth is, there really isn’t any ‘extra’ time. I work 50 hours a week and sometimes it’s even more than that. My days now begin around 5am and end around 9pm. I’m not really a morning person so it’s hard for me to be productive early on, but after work I usually wind down and I’ve found I get the best of my writing done right before bed time.

Even though I’m not a morning person, I usually get the non-creative things done early on in the day. (Scheduling social media posts, working on auto responders, responding to e-mails, etc.)

It’s hard to believe that my first book took three years to write when I’m now going to be having 4 books published in 2016. Next year, I plan to get 6 books published along with launching a few other ventures I have in mind.

Here’s to a happy and healthy 3rd & 4th quarter!

Until next time,

XXX
